Rogan has nearly 20 years of experience as a freelance storyteller, performing in schools, libraries, museums, children’s centres, nurseries, art galleries, parks, trains, shopping centres and wherever anyone will listen.

By profession he is a librarian with experience as a children’s librarian, library manager and Sure Start project manager. He has a wealth of experience in training, consultation work and in delivering children’s sessions.

He is married with four children, a dog and two cats. In his spare time he likes to watch Stockport County, go running and walking, spend time in the garden and watch birds.

Rogan believes that storytelling is a powerful medium, which has the potential to enhance and even change a young person’s life. Everyone possesses an ability to tell stories and Rogan has the knowledge, skills and experience to entertain, inspire and instruct in this age-old art form.
